I have fought the fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. That sums up Randy's journey which ended this morning at 9:20 AM. Pat and I were at his side when he entered into the church triumphant. We miss him already but know that he is with our Lord and enjoying his new heavenly body which will never know pain or suffering.
There will be a memorial service to celebrate Randy's life on Sunday, March 22 at 4:30 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
Thank you to Mark Myrick, Tom Betz, Joe Winterman and ,of course, Pat. They have been my rock through this very difficult day. Thank you to everyone for your phone calls and prayers as we make our way through this fog of grief. In the coming days, please pray for me and the children. We are trying to put one foot in front of the other and do the things that Randy would expect of us. We know that he is in a better place and he will be with us always.
We offer prayers of thanksgiving for Randy's life and love. I am sure that as he entered the gates, he heard - Well done good and faithful servant.
Peace to you.
Sue, Katie, Pat & Carrie
